Bank Bottom, Halifax



Bank Bottom is the road which leads from the foot of Old Bank and Southowram Bank, over the Hebble at Clark Bridge to Cripplegate and the Parish Church.

There were many pubs and houses here.

After World War I, many of these were demolished and mills and factories built on the land.
