An Acrostic – Sarah Wass

Poem by

Levi Haigh

Shall not the mercies of a gracious past,
As beaming lights, upon the present shine,
Radiant with love, and still their beauties cast
Along the future with a power divine:
Hope growing brighter as the years decline.
With God as helper, comforter and guide,
All things shall work together for the best.
Since you are His-whatever may betide,
Shall but prepare you for a life more blest.
