All Souls' Amateur Operatic Society: Productions

All Souls' Amateur Operatic Society was founded in 1960 by a group of members of All Souls' Church who were interested in singing and musical theatre.

The group was supported by the then Vicar, Rev John Walker, who took part in many productions.

Performances began with a concert production of The Mikado [May 1961], followed by a concert version of The Gondoliers [January 1962].

In May 1962, a fully-staged performance of The Mikado was produced in All Souls' Church Hall in Haley Hill, Halifax.
