Martha Ann was born in Halifax.

She was the widow of George Collins, and had a daughter: Sarah E. [b 1854] who was an elementary teacher [1881] & a son who married Eleanor

  • 24 Craven Terrace, Halifax [1881]

Living with them [in 1891, 1901] were widowed daughter-in-law Eleanor Collins [b 1859] and her daughters Eleanor Collins [b 1885] & Dora Collins [b 1888].

Living with them [in 1901] was son-in-law George R. Collins [b  1884] (apprentice) electrical engineer.

William Lister died 19th March 1903 (aged 79).

Members of the family were buried at Lister Lane Cemetery [Plot 903] with his brother George Dearden.

Martha died 23rd December 1906 (aged 76), and was buried at Lister Lane Cemetery [Plot 1353] with her first husband
