On 19th January 1919, Police Sergeant Bell saw a man carrying
cow heel from Hollows's shop in Sowerby Bridge.
In his defence, Hollows said that the man had ordered the food
at 7:00 pm but was only just fetching it.
He was fined 5/- for selling food after the hour stipulated in the
Early Closing Order.
In [Q3] 1887, he married Eliza Hannah Hesselden [1861-1050] in Halifax.

The 1911 census shows that they had had 6 children of whom 4 were still alive at that time.
