Charlestown, had the misfortune to fall down stairs, breaking his leg
in two places and also sustaining a very bad cut on the head.
Dr Garnet Lawson attended to the injuries and Mr
Shuttleworth was removed to the Halifax Infirmary in the
Hebden-bridge Ambulance on Tuesday morning
