Contributor Geoff Siddall travelled on this line in the 1920s/30s, and says
The tracks came to a dead stop, just after the tram, If I recall the
actual end of the tracks was about the level of the Chemists shop
which used to be Murrels.
The tracks were lifted from the Triangle section in the 1930s.
Trams used to have to wait at the loop on Wharf Street until the tram
came from the Nook
The bridge was later altered
