Here lies interred the bodies of Two sons and Two daughters of John Hatton of Lightcliffe VIZ Abraham Nancy Betty and Samuel who all died in their infancy     Likewise John Hatton Father To the above Children who after A painful affliction which he bore with the Patience and Resignation of a real Christian under a firm confidence thro' Christ of a glori ous Resurrection departed this Life Universally respected the Fourth Day of November 1792 in the 69th Year of his Age     Also Elizabeth Hatton wife of the above said John Hatton who departed this Life the 9th Day of April 1798, in the 76th Year of her Age     Also Mary, Daughter of the above who died Nov 29th 1827 age 76 Years
