Miserere mei Deus Sacred to the Memory of John Murray. M.A. Curate of the Parish who departed this life at Duncrivie in Scotland in the Year of our Lord MDCCCXLII. The time of his Ministry was short, but faithful service standeth not in number of years. He cared for the poor and gave them reverence as Christ's chosen, and their blessing was his reward. In his public ministrations earnest and devout, As a preacher eloquent, fervent, fearless, He taught men to walk in the old paths And shunned not to declare the whole Counsel of God. Those who have been encourag'd by his example, instructed by his teaching, guided by his care, have in grateful remembrance erected this Memorial
