Mary, the Daughter of Mr IOHN Prescot of Halifax, was buried near this Place the 18th Day of May 1708.     And in the same Grave is Interred the Body of the above named Mr IOHN PRESCOT, Practitioner in Physick and Chirurgery, who Died the 11th Day of November 1728 In the 53 year of his Age;     Also Sarah, his Wife, who Died Iune ye 10th 1739, in the 56 year of hir Age;     Also near this Place are interred the remains of The REVD EDWARD PRESCOTT, A.M., of Clare Hall in Halifax, who died 16th Feby 1809, Aged 48 Years.     Also ANN, Wife of the above named EDWARD PRESCOTT, who died 31st Octr 1847, Aged 82 Years.     Also MARY, Wife of THOMAS CARR STEWARD. Esqr and Daughter of the above named EDWARD and ANN PRESCOTT, who died 9th Novr 1854, Aged 63 Years.     ALSO OF THE ABOVE NAMED THOMAS CARR STEWARD WHO DIED ON THE 29TH DAY OF JANUARY 1857, AGED 71 YEARS.     ALSO OF THOMAS HOGARTH, ESQUIRE, LATE THE HUSBAND OF ELIZABETH JUDITH HOGARTH, DAUGHTER OF THE ABOVE NAMED EDWARD AND ANN PRESCOTT, WHO DIED ON THE 13TH DAY OF MARCH 1865, AGED 57 YEARS,     ALSO OF THE ABOVE NAMED ELIZABETH JUDITH HOGARTH, WHO DIED ON THE 26TH DAY OF MAY 1874, AGED 73 YEARS.

Phoebe, fifth daughter of Mr John Prescot, died May 1795, aged 82.     Dorothy, ninth daughter of Mr John Prescot, died Novr 19th 1797, aged 74.     Phoebe Prescot, grand daughter of Mr John Prescot, died Octr 14th 1820, aged 61.

Beneath this stone are deposited the remains of William Prescot of Stump Cross, gentleman, who died Dec 24th 1791, aged 72 years.     Also of Esther, his second wife, who died Decr 12 1791, aged 52 years.     Also of Anne Margaret, third daughter of the Revd Edward Prescot, of Calico Hall. She died February 15th 1805, aged 5 months.     And here also are deposited the remains of the above mentioned Revd Edward Prescot, M.A., Vicar of Long Preston in Craven, who died February the 16th 1809, aged 48 years.
