The junction of New Bank and North Bridge with Charlestown Road
The junction of New Bank and Charlestown Road
taken from the northern end of North Bridge, with the Pine
Apple Hotel at the corner of New Bank and Charlestown Road,
George Riley's Clog Shop beneath, a warehouse with the faded
name of Joseph Brook further along Charlestown Road, and
beyond that, at the far right of the photograph, is the roof of a
small fish and chip shop, and then the Bishop Blaize
with the Whitaker's sign
For anyone unfamiliar with the tramway system, the things that look
