In Memory of     SAMUEL JOHN BIRKS, WHO DIED MAY 14TH 1854, AGED 33 YEARS.     He came to the cross when his young cheek was blooming, And raised to the Lord the bright glance of his eye. And when o'er its beauty death's darkness was glooming, The cross still upheld him, the Saviour was nigh.     ALSO IN MEMORY OF HIS CHILDREN LUCY, WHO DIED SEPTR 10TH 1845, AGED 1 YEAR AND 11 MONTHS.     ALSO SAMUEL, AGED 4 YEARS.     ALSO MARTHA, AGED 2 YEARS.     WHO BOTH DIED OCTOBER 5TH 1850.     They were lovely and pleasant in their lives. And in death they were not divided.     ALSO OF ELIZABETH BIRKS, SISTER OF THE ABOVE S. J. BIRKS, WHO DIED JUNE 4TH 1877, AGED 58 YEARS.
