Balmoral Place, Halifax is a terrace of 11 houses built around 1860 by Elizabeth Porter in Blackwall.
In 1964, Norman Ashworth bought the house at Number 15. The family gradually bought others in the terrace until they finally acquired the last one around 1990. These were converted into 36 flats.
