Tuesday, 30th January 1912: Ratepayers' Association formed in Brighouse
Monday, 5th February 1912: River Calder frozen between Sowerby Bridge and Mytholmroyd
Monday, 12th February 1912: New drill hall for Sowerby Bridge territorials opened
Saturday, 30th March 1912: New park at Centre Vale, Todmorden, and the new secondary school at Stile, Todmorden, officially opened
Saturday, 6th April 1912: Boothtown United Methodist Church jubilee
Saturday, 20th April 1912: Sod cutting ceremony at the new Pellon Baptist Church
Saturday, 27th April 1912: Sod cutting of the new church of St Mark's, Siddal
Tuesday, 30th April 1912: Consecration of All Saints' Church, Elland

Saturday, 29th June 1912: Ambulance carriage bought by the people of Stainland presented to the district council

Thursday, 11th July 1912: Fire at the toffee works of Turner & Wainwright, Brighouse
Saturday, 13th July 1912: Memorial stones laid at the new West End Wesleyan Mission Church, Halifax
Saturday, 13th July 1912: Municipal bowling green opened at Shroggs Park, Halifax
Friday, 26th July 1912: Disastrous fire at George Lumb Limited, cotton spinners, Elland. The workers had narrow escapes and adjoining cottages were destroyed
Saturday, 27th July 1912: Memorial shelter to the late Councillor Hyde Sharratt opened in the recreation ground, Elland
Saturday, 27th July 1912: Dedication of new choir stalls at Hebden Bridge Parish Church
Wednesday, 7th August 1912: Halifax Town Council agreed to reduce the rent of gas cookers and fit them free
Saturday, 17th August 1912: German peace delegation in Halifax
Tuesday, 20th August 1912: Death of General Booth, founder of the Salvation Army As a minister of the Methodist New Connection he was based at Salem Church, Halifax, and had oversight of the cause at Brighouse
Saturday, 14th September 1912: Re-opening of St Thomas's Church, Claremount, Halifax, after the removal of the old gallery, enlargement of the church and installation of a new altar
Saturday, 5th October 1912: Arcade Royale, between Commercial Street and Southgate, Halifax, opened
Saturday, 5th October 1912: Siddal Wesleyan Sunday School jubilee
Saturday, 5th October 1912: Cliffe House, Brighouse, opened as the town's new Conservative Club

Tuesday, 29th October 1912: Death of Mr John Whitley MP, of West House, Halifax, a Freeman of the Borough, aged 85
Tuesday, 29th October 1912: Agreement reached to extend Halifax tramways to Rastrick
Saturday, 2nd November 1912: Stone laying ceremony at St Mark's Church, Siddal
Monday, 11th November 1912: An elaborate tramways extension scheme agreed by Halifax Town Council
Friday, 22nd November 1912: Rastrick Library opened
Thursday, 5th December 1912: Madame Melba in Halifax
