• 15th March 1780: (Southowram) Mary Hinchliffe went apprentice to Eli Walker and she was 8 years old

• 12th May 1781: Mary Smith went to the Blewcoates and was 13 years old

• 4th July 1781: Betty Ripley went apprentice to William Kershaw of Pump (Southowram) and was 7 years on 28th June

  
  30th July 1774: Betty Ripley was baptised at Southowram daughter of Mary Ripley. She may have died in Bolton [17th November 1884]

   

• 9th July 1781: Thomas Kitson went apprentice to John Nicholl at Siddal Hall and he was 8 years old May last.

  
  4th July 1773: Thomas Kitson was baptised in Halifax son of Stansfield Kitson

   

• 16th May 1784: (possibly Southowram) Hugh Mallinson went apprentice to Thomas Brooksbank and was 12 years old November last

• 3rd January 1788: South Holme (Southowram) John Brearley was sent apprentice to Luke Crosland was between 13 and 14 years old

• 30th July 1790: John Bentley was sent apprentice to William Bentley Jnr and was returned being under age

• 10th December 1790: Clay Royd (Southowram) Henry Oates was sent apprentice to Joseph Oates and was seven years old.

• 1793: Sinderhills (Cinderhills, Siddal) Mary Midwood was apprenticed to John Morton was going nine years old.

• 5th February 1793: (possibly Marsh, Southowram) Nancy Hemingway was first apprentice to Samuel Hall and was near 12 years old

  
  27th August 1775: Nancy Hemingway was baptised at Southowram daughter of Thomas Hemingway

   

• 16th April 1799: Pasture House (Southowram) Isaac Crook was first apprentice to Jeremiah Mallinson and was 9 years old turned

  Could he be Isaac Crook or Isaac Crook?

• 19th June 1800: Exley. James Naylor was first apprentice to Thos. Blakey was now eight years old and was returned and £10 paid in lieu.

• 8th November 1800: (Cromwell Bottom) John Thornton Beaumont natural child of Martha Beaumont was first apprenticed to Mary Beaumont was 9 years old 18th May last

• 9th December 1800: Sinderhills (Cinderhills, Siddal) John Brassey was sent to Joseph Morton and was ? years old

• 13th January 1801: Cromwell Bottom. Charles Wood was first apprenticed to John Aspinall will be ten years old 15th Mar next

• 30th May 1803: Abraham Holdsworth was bound apprentice to an assignment of an Indenture of apprenticeship from Joseph Whitaker of Southowram to William Barber of the same place

• 30th January 1804: Park Nook. (Southowram) John Hartley was sent apprentice to John Greenwood, Coal Miner and was nine years old.

• 27th February 1808: Marsh (Southowram) Abraham Rooks was sent apprentice to Samuel Hall and was thirteen years 3 months old.

  
  An Abraham Rooks was baptised at Lightcliffe son of William and he may have married Mary Woodhead in 1830 and may have died 1849

   

• 23rd October 1813: Ruth Walsh went apprentice to John Mallinson was eight years and four months old

  
  1805 a Ruth Walsh was baptised daughter of William/Sarah Walsh

   

• 22nd August 1818: (possibly Southowram) William Sawood/Sowood went as apprentice to Aaron Aspinall was 11 years and 3 months old

  
  May 1807: William Sawood/Sowood was born, possibly at Heptonstall and may have died in Bradford [1872]

   

• 1st July 1820: (Possibly Southowram) Frances Brooke went as an apprentice to Squire Aspinall was 13 years and 10 months old.

  
  1806: Frances Brooke was born and was baptised [7th September 1806] daughter of Mary

   

• 12th May 1821: Samuel Le(e)ming was put out an apprentice to John Irvin at Waterside and he was seven years old turned

• 10th March 1827: William Holroyd went apprentice to Thomas Aspinall was nine years old.

  Thomas Aspinall convicted in ten pounds for refusing to keep and provide for his apprentice [21st April 1827]

• 29th August 1828: Jos'h Hemingway age 15 years 2 months son of Thomas & Susannah Hemingway of Halifax was apprenticed to Joseph Carter, Clog maker, for 5 years 10 month, or on marriage. Church Wardens were; Leonard Duncan and Samuel Farrar. Overseers of the Poor were; Thomas Parkinson; Charles Brearley, John Bray and Robert Edleston; Magistrates were: M. Stocks and W. Barstow
• David Hemingway age 15 years son of Thomas & Susannah Hemingway of Halifax was Bound to Jonathan Fourness a Cordwainer for 5 years, or on marriage.

  Church Wardens were; Nathan Whiteley and Jonathan Akroyd;

  Overseers of the Poor were; James Hootson, Caleb Howarth, James Boyne and George Whiteley.

• 6th October 1832: Benjamin Sawood/Sowood went apprentice to Charles Howarth was 9 years and 10 months old
