No proof has been found, but there is other evidence relating to these two families which tends to support that Agnes daughter of Orm de Holdsworth was possibly the daughter of Orm son of Magnus
In the latter part of the 12th century, John son of Essolf became involved in a dispute over land with Agnes daughter of Orm de Holdsworth. The quarrel was settled by his granting of an acre of land together with pasture for cows, sheep, goats and pigs, in Holdsworth, to the cell of Woodkirk and the canons of Nostell Priory.[YAS Record Series, Extra Series. John son of Essolf made another grant to the cell of Woodkirk of half a bovate of land in Holdsworth, which Essolf his father had purchased from Agnes daughter of Orm de Holdsworth.
