In the name of god amen the xijth daie of June anno domini 1611 I William Bradley of
Dewsburie in the countie of York yeoman being sick in bodie but of perfect remembrance
god be thanked do make this my last will and testament in manner and forme following first
I comitt my soule into thands of almightie god my maker redemer trusting in the meritts
and passion of Christ Jesus to have full remission of all my synnes and my bodie to be buried
in the church at Dewsburie when god shall grannt the same and as concerning my goods in this world
this world (sic) I do herebie bequeath them as followeth Imprimis I give unto Cotton
Broadley my brother vjs viijd and unto Francis Broadley my brother other vjs viijd Item to
Grace daughter of Cotton Broadley xx s Item my mynd and will herebie is that Anne my wife
shall have all the benifitt and government of my sonne William and all my lands untill my said sonne do
come and to lawfull yeares of age but if my said wife do before that tyme marrie that Richard Person shall
have the tuition and government of my sonne and lands abovesaid my wife being content to be excluded from
the same but if my sonne do die before he come unto the age of twentie and one yeares then my wife shall
have the whole benifitt of the lands during her life and after her decease the howses and lands except the
house and croft in the occupation of Thomas Secker shall remaine to Roberte sonne of Cotton Broadley and his
heires forever and the said house and croft before excepted shall remaine to Francis Broadley during his life
onlie and after his decease to his right heires forever Item my will and testament is that if Robert Broadley
abovesaid do come to the full possesssion of the lands and houses herein by me before bequeathed then he shall
paie unto Edward Saltenstall my brother in lawe xl s unto Marie Milner xl s Sibell Millner xl s Edye
Millner xl s Item my will and mynde is that Anne nowe my wife be with child by me that same childe
shall surviveing my sonne William shall forever enioy the possession of my said houses and landes to him given
and his heires forever all other being quite excluded from any benifitt therein Item the rest of my goods
not given I give wholie unto my wife and I make my sonne William sole executor of this my last will and
testament in witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale the daie and yeare first abovewritten
