MR FRANK HARCOURT (F.J. Harding) who ten years ago was manager of the Royal Hotel and Oddfellows Hall, Halifax, has taken over that well known establishment and in due time he intends to open the large hall, to which he will bring the best of talent.Mr Harcourt, twenty years experience of the business, first as an artiste and then as a manager, should enable him to guide the oddfellows Hall into the groove of success.
At any rate, he will do his utmost to make it go.

Halifax County CourtMessrs John Dyson & Son, Builders, brought action against Messrs. Keith & Tudor, circus proprietors to recover £18 8/5d the balance of account for work done to erect a wooden building in the old cattle market which had been used by the defendants as a circus.
Case adjourned.

A VOTE OF THANKS to Mr KEITH.The Halifax Board of Guardians gave a vote of thanks to Mr Charlie Keith, the proprietor of a circus at North Bridge, Halifax for his kindness in allowing the inmates of the Workhouse to witness one of his excellent performances, and also for his generous gift of sixpence each to those much pleased visitors.
