Documents relating to Richard Walker [1672-1721]

Receipt and discharge 12 july 1701 by Richard Walker of Over Walterclough in Southowrome, yeoman and Grace his wife, the daughter of John Batley of Halifax, yeoman, the sole executor of will of Grace Ryall late of Halifax widow deceased to said John Batley; for £160 in payment of legacy bequeathed by Grace Ryall and John Ryall her husband deceased to be paid from capital messuage of Shelf Hall.

Grace Ryall's will dated 20 jan 1684.

Likewise Richard Walker and Grace received the residue of the estate of Mary Broardley (sic) of Halifax deceased grandmother of Grace Walker bequeathed by Mary Broardley (sic) to Thomas Batley brother of Grace and to Grace equally paid by John Batley.
