The Manchester Highflyer Coach leaves Leeds at half past twelve at Noon calling at Bradford, White Lion, Halifax, and at Rochdale and then to Manchester.Returns every morning from Manchester arriving in Leeds in time for the York Highflyer.
The Old Manchester and Liverpool Mail starts Leeds every morning calling at Bradford, White Lion, Halifax and at Rochdale arriving at Manchester at four o'clock.
On its return, it arrives in Leeds at ten minutes before three in the afternoon, in time for the York Highflyer
The Leeds Intelligencer [Thursday, 22nd June 1826] advertised
Sale by Auction on the 28th July 1826 at the White Lion Innthe Capital and Well accustomed POSTING HOUSE in Halifax called the White Lion Inn with large extensive yard, warehouses, stables, etc., now occupied by Miss Jenkinson.
