Percy Hollis, aged fifty, former police superintendent of Todmorden, married a German lady just prior to his appointment at Todmorden and on his retirement went to live in or near Dresden in Germany.Summary of a long letter:
He was interned at the outbreak of the war in various prisons and is now in a concentration camp at Ruhleben.He asked to be sent food and clothing (a long list for both was given), soap, tooth powder, tobacco or cigars and bedding.

Mr Percy Hollis, formerly police superintendent at Todmorden, has arrived back in England with his wife and child.They are currently in Leeds.
Mr Hollis married a German lady just before coming to Todmorden and on his retirement they went to live on the outskirts of Dresden.
At the outbreak of war, he was interned as an alien but has since been liberated.
